It looks like Obama is still trailing by quite a bit in Ohio but what is going on in Texas? Does anyone know when we will get some more Texas polling?

There was a poll last wk showing Hillary up 48-38.  Outside of that, nothing.

I'm not capable of this "patience" you speak of.

Well I just caught Scott Rasmussen on Fox News. He says that he'll have a new Texas poll out tomorrow. He mentioned that it looks "tougher" for Clinton than Ohio does.

Well, that is good news.  I think Rasmussen had Clinton up 14 in Ohio.

I think what gives Obama the edge in Texas over his Ohio situation is the open primary heritage of Texas.  No Republican race left on the Republican side.  Lots of republicans and independents will be crossing over to vote for Obama.  Could make up as high as 25% of total Democratic primary voters.  They break 70 - 30 against Hillary.  BTW, Rasmussen hasn't polled Texas often but when he does, he's pretty good,

Well, hopefully the Texas poll is slightly less depressing than the Ohio and Pennsylvania polls.

Obama always does better in a state once he starts campaigning there. Texas/Ohio polls won't matter much until after Wisconsin.

Well, Obama probably trails by 5% in that poll. But remember that Rasmussen also had Obama at +1 in California, then Clinton won with 10 ...

So we basically need Obama +10 before we can start thinking about winning Texas outright
