Obama will carry all the counties in the Northeastern part of NC by 60% or more.

All of them? Even the white ones that Bush took over 60% in? In any event it isn't as though many people live there and Kerry polled over 60% in most of the blacker counties anyway.

No Democratic presidential candidate has led in Guilford by 5% since LBJ (and he only just made it). But it isn't out the question. Even so, a 4pt lead for Bubba translated into a raw vote lead of just 6,000 or so.

I have trouble believing that, but even if that happens we won't be talking about a lead of much over 20,000.

Josh is fast becoming the new Harry, wrt NC.

Makes sense, since Harry's obviously gay as well.

Kerry lost NC by 435,317 votes against Bush.  Obama will be a whole lot stronger. Obama will carry all the counties in the Northeastern part of NC by 60% or more. Obama will pick up Buncombe County (which Bush won by 623 votes). Buncombe is home of UNC-Asheville. He will carry Guilford County 5% or more, picking up more votes. He will carry Wake County by alot picking up more votes. He will win Orange and Durham Counties by 70% or more picking up more votes. Obama could win in NC this year.

Nothing to say Mr. Sam?

Is it really worth my time to type a response?
