McCain:

Norm Coleman (tough reelection battle)
John Sununu (Ditto Norm)
Susan Collins (Same as above)
Gordon Smith (Ditto the top three)


Obama or Clinton:
Mark Warner (running for the Senate)
Either of the Udalls (Ditto Warner)


The DSCC and the NRSCC will not allow their parties to nominate a vulnerable Senator/ a challenger as VP.

Diatribe over.

Ed Rendell, though he's not running for office, should also be included in this thread.

The same should apply to any senator from a state with a governor of the opposite party but apparently the parties aren't that smart based on talk.
