And the mayors of Madison and Milwaukee have endorsed Obama. That settles the questions of where the dead/homeless voters will go and the many many votes cast by college students (not that that was ever in doubt).

I find it a rather sad testament to American politics when we're talking about where illegal votes will go as if it's a routine thing to be expected. Tongue

If yesterday was "Chesapeake Tuesday", then Feb. 19th should be "Aloha Badger Tuesday".  Wink

Now, what about March 4th?  Is there any common thread between OH, TX, RI, and VT?  (Or at least between Ohio and Texas?)  Back in the 90s, the second biggest primary day was called "Junior Tuesday".  Maybe we can resurrect that tradition.

I was talking about the dead, not the homeless, though getting the homeless to vote for your guy is of dubious moral quality, if not dubious legality.

Ever seen Charlie Wilson's War?

When Charlie Wilson was a young boy, his dog would sometimes get into his neighbor's yard. His neighbor retaliated by sneaking crushed glass into the dog's food, killing the dog. Charlie found out he had was on the town council and as a farmer's son, was able to get a driving permit at 13. So on election day he drove into the poor black part of town where white people very rarely went and where election turnout was usually terrible, and offered to drive the blacks to the polls. When he got there he said "I'm not trying to influence your vote or anything, but you should know that the incumbent for this town council spot killed my dog."

The incumbent lost that election by 13 votes.
