McCain leads Huckabee, 47%-41%, according to the exit poll.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't take this.  CNN is just being conservative.

If that's the margin it would be stupid to call it based on exit poll

MSNBC is calling tonight "Hucks Last Stand...". You think he'll drop out tonight if he doesnt win any of the three states?

Why does anyone care what a network "thinks"?

I'll take that as a no.

Huck will stay in at least until it becomes mathematically impossible for him to win, and possibly up until the convention.

Ah, found the "white" numbers: 46M-42H-7P-5R. Given that that's 94% of the vote, it's unlikely to be much different from that overall.

Huck wins Blacks and Latinos though, so maybe it'll be a little closer than that...

The early returns are mostly from CDs 5, 6, and 9. These should be good Huck districts.

Yes, cause CNN can personally affect whether Huckabee wins or not.

55-38 at 1% in.

The first votes are in from NOVA. McCain is getting about 70% in CDs 8 and 10. Nothing in from 11 yet.

Virginia exit poll extrapolation has McCain winning by 5 or 6
From where do you see this?  What I see on CNN.com right now (though I suspect it is incomplete) points to a virtually even race going just off the M/F numbers.

I calculated it using the M/F numbers

Interesting note from the CNN exit poll: Huckabee is shown winning both Republicans and independents.

I'm amazed at how far behind CNN is in the count. They're talking about 9% in, when the state website has 24% in.

It's not just them. MSNBC is at 13%.
