If Huckabee won Virginia, that would be the upset of the whole GOP race this year.

Not happening, though.  I can't see it.

I went and voted for Obama today at my own church.  I was the only voter there at the time lol.  This is actually good for Obama because my area is alot more pro-Hillary than most of the state.

7 PM Eastern in Virginia, 8 PM Eastern in Maryland and DC.

So that means Virginia polls close in an hour.

It could definitely happen.  The "inevitability" we've been hearing about from the media is hurting McCain, while Huck's and Paul's supporters are out in full force.

In southeast Virginia there is a huge military and veteran population.  I haven't seen a single McCain yard sign.  That's not to say McCain doesn't have support - only that the operation on the ground wasn't well organized down here at all.

Northern and Central Virginia is Huckabee Country. I was in Fredericksburg[sp?]a couple days ago and Huck signs created a sea of blue down the interstate and citystreets in the area. It was ridiculous.

Exit polls show large conservative turnout, and a large electorate that listens to "Conservative Talk Radio" which is a new question....and low military turnout [like 26% were in the military].

Hmm, well, maybe it just might be possible for Huckabee to at least make this close.

If he did, I think it would undermine the argument J. J. was making that independents will still vote for McCain in as large quantities as before.

Why does anyone care what a network "thinks"?

Any word on how the 5 D.C. Republicans voted?

The folks at AEI voted for McCain.
The folks at Heritage voted for Huckabee.
The folks at CATO thought about voting for Ron Paul, then went home and cried.

McCain probably wins, but it's definitely closer than the polls were suggesting. McCain supporters getting complacent, I guess. Romney managed about 8% despite "dropping out".

Ah, found the "white" numbers: 46M-42H-7P-5R. Given that that's 94% of the vote, it's unlikely to be much different from that overall.
