A bit of light relief here.

I have to say NBC/CNN are way ahead. Modern crisp visuals, lots of white. NBC are using their 'decision' theme from 2004 and 06 and they alow things to move on screen. CNN's mucic however, a bit of a rock is pretty cool. I hope they keep it right the way through.

CBS from what i've seen and FOX take the wooden spoon. Hello FOX, the 90's want their stuff back. Smiley The graphics are too busy and too gharish.

CNN has some pretty cool stuff, even if it's pretty dumb how self-satisfied they are with their virtually-useless Google Maps integration.

But no contest.

The CNN maps are awesome, even if as Alcon pointed out, they're constantly making a point of how awesome they are.

I like the MSNBC graphic/sound when they announce a state though.

I like the MSNBC music.  Really, NBC news & sports broadcasts have higher quality theme music than pretty much anyone else, in large part because a lot of that music is composed by John Williams.  (Though I don't know if that election music is done by John Williams.  He did compose the Nightly News and Meet the Press music though.)

You can't argue with CNN. That touch screen map thing is insanely cool.

I thought MSNBC was better in 2006 (I have CNN 2006 recorded and it is very dull) but CNN definitley wins in 2008. ABC looks promising, too, but we don't see much from the major networks anyway unless it's Election night.

CNN wins in terms of graphics, but they should have kept the old election theme music.

I love the variation on CNN "Inside Politics" theme music (here.  I agree with Trilobyte that they should have kept the music. I haven't watched CNN this year because their commentators on Election Night are sh**t. I watch MSNBC, usually. I like their theme music, too, but just not as much as the old CNN theme.

CNN overdoes it, IMO.

ABC was decent.

NBC is pretty cool.

CBS...I never watch or check....

FOX takes the cake, fantastic graphics and layout...but doesn't overdue it.

MSNBC is ok...not a huge fan...it comes in somewhat poor quality on my cable anyways.

Fox is terrible. When will they employ proper lighting? Naso must dig it because it has an 80s feel to it, due to bad lighting. I love it in old B-movies and such, but we don't need this kind of lighting on modern news channels.

MSNBC and CNN are both pretty cool.

Fantastic graphics? I don't think so. Graphics are another major reason why I can't stand that network.

CNN is too much with the graphics and personally, I like the FOX panel of Fred Barnes, Mort Kondrake, Bill Kristol and Juan Williams along with Brit Hume, "Campaign" Carl Cameron, and Martha MacCallum better than the CNN of Candy, Wolf and Anderson. Oh yeah...and that one guy...Bill Schenider.

Do you at least admit that the lighting is poor?
