Switch Oregon, Iowa and NH in the firs map, and CO, VA and FL in the second. Maybe OH too.

Clinton's been polling much better than Obama in GE polls in Ohio.

Obama wins CO and MO in a close race, as well as VA, where Mark Warner lifts him past 50%.

Clinton Vs. McCain

Obama Vs. McCain

Both Democrats win.

Obama performs better among independents in the Northwest, the Midwest and New Hampshire.

Clinton performs better in Florida and Nevada because of strong Latino support.

I can't confirm or deny that, although my sentiment lead to that conclusion. That's why I think that even though Obama is more likely to win overall, Ohio will still be close. If Hillary were to win, she'd carry Ohio but I don't think she would win.

This is probably the best Obama could do:

I just don't see him winning Florida.

This is Clinton's best:

McCain's best against Clinton:

McCain's best against Obama:

Obviously, this assumes neither doomsday scenario occurs for the Democrats (blacks don't turnout for Hillary or working class whites vote against Obama).

Clinton vs. McCain

294-244 McCain

Obama vs. McCain

279-259 Obama

It's really too early to tell about anything though.

Clinton 341
McCain 197

Yes, I'm an optimist as Democrats go, but I have a feeling that if a Democrat wins, it's going to be pretty big. I can see Virginia and West Virginia reverting to form because McCain is tailor-made for one and not the other.

Obama 331
McCain 207

Same dynamic, partisan wave favoring Democrats while Republican base remains intact.

Don't read too much into the percentages. At some point I gave up.
