He once used his influence to help a union organize workers at a nursing home in Ligonier, PA.  It was run by a Hungarian cultural organization and he used his personal influence, as a Hungarian ethic, to help in a place where they could never ever vote for him.

Yes, impressive for what he did, not just what he survived.
Wow I live in Ligonier and I didn't even know that....

RIP

I may not have agreed with him on every issue, but he was nonetheless one of the greatest men in Congress.
