Somewhere it was said that if Edwards endorses he'd campaign for them in Ohio.

Hmm...? If this is what Edwards is actually doing, then "whore" is more than accurate.

Edwards better not endorse Clinton. If he does, any high regard I held for the man will be gone.

Does Edwards still have control over his 26 delegates?

I know I was just being silly Tongue ...and honestly I dont see Edwards endorsing Clinton being that they dont have that much in common except probably their healthcare plans were almost identical. I think it'll be a HUGE surprise if he does....and all respect will be lost for him by me.

No, I don't believe so. They are free to do anything they want.

He didn't drop out; he just suspended his campaign, which I believe allows him to keep control of his 26 delegates... I could be wrong though.

I was about to say that...he only "suspended" his campaign so he still has control over his delegates.

He actually only won 12 delegates - the 14 he "got" in Iowa were only estimates. All he won in Iowa was delegates to county conventions, and those county delegates will likely now go to one of the other candidates.

As for the other 12 delegates that he got, I think they're still under his control. However, if he releases them, he cannot direct how they vote.

The real reason he only "suspended" his campaign as far as I can tell is for financial reasons.

Hmm....CNN was saying last night that the DNC rules didn't allow a candidate to suspend their campaign and keep their delegates. They could be wrong though. It is CNN.
