I, as Chairman of the Progressive Liberal Party, think we should convene before the election. I'll open it up on Saturday and end it Monday, if that's good for everyone.

Would anyone like to propose a location for the convention?

San Francisco, since that's where the Progressive Convention is. Of course, that from a homer. Smiley

Glad to see this finally here. The PLP should gain 2 seats this election and could win a third. My hopes are high.

San Francisco sounds good, if nobody has any objections.

I think we should use another city.  Otherwise it will be boring.  I would suggest Chicago, Illinois or Baltimore, Maryland.  Both are cities with histories of hosting great conventions in real life. (1932 for Chicago and 1912 for Baltimore.)

Nominate one of them, and we can have a vote.

I'd like to nominate Baltimore, Maryland then.(Gotta go with the home state) This is also considering the PLP's recent strength in the Mideast :-D

As a delegate to the Progressive Convention, I really would rather not fly across the country. Let's take a vote.

The PLP convention will not have delegates. However, you can be one of mine at the Progressive Primary convention if you'd like.

I'm also a delegate of Polnut's, which, I guess, makes me yours.

May I be permitted to hold the floor for a brief address?

Since Baltimore is winning by a huge margin, can we just start it now?

sure. Always good to give that kind of thing to a rising star in the party.

I assume this Convention is the same as the one we have been holding primaries for during the last few weeks?
