You guys are actually seeming like you're surprised. Tongue

of course he was going to win there, but calling it at the bell is both a nice omen and indicative of a landslide.

No calling on the extra delegates.

Crushing. My prediction was off by a good ways, besides the fact Obama won.

Mason Dixon had Obama winning GA 47-41. Looking at the exit poll, Mason Dixon might just be the new ARG.

By my calcuation based on exit polls it is Obama 66.5 to Clinton 31.1
The leaked polls earlier were Obama 75, Clinton 26 which means Clinton could do better than those leaked polls indicated.

Looking at the exit poll, they are projecting Obama 66 Clinton 32, just what I saw the secondary numbers on MyDD from the supposed Clinton campaign person.  Just FYI.

Bodes well for him in Alabama.

They can't poll races with black candidates.

52% of the vote in GA was black according to the exits.  massive black turnout.

66-33 is still a huge win for Obama. Very impressive slaughter

if GA is 2:1 it's hard to see Obama losing Alabama.

I wonder how Tennessee will break down.  I still expect a Clinton victory but it could be really close if the rest of the South votes like Georgia did.

Yuppers... I know Tennessee is more white, but it could potentially spread...

I agree. Obama should win at least 25% of white voters in Alabama, far more than the polls had been indicating, which will be enough. (He won't have urban liberal whites as in Georgia, but he'll have plenty of other whites.) Might make Tennessee closer than expected, too, though of course the storm hitting Memphis hardest may also make it a bigger Clinton victory.

Virtually impossible.

Well, we needn't worry about Alabama at the very least. A loss in TN getting 45% wouldn't be that bad either.

Not expecting that. I'd be happy with a margin of less than ten points, and satisfied with a margin of less than 15.

Alabama whites are very different from GA whites, but he should fundamentally win the state, I suspect.
