This is like two brothers being pitted against one another Smiley   I guess Andrew is more of a fiscal conservative/social liberal, where I am more centrist on both sides.

Andrew would probably win in a highly geographic race.

Andrew would easily garner the support of moderate Republican strongholds in the northeast and surburban women, and I'd be driven by enclaves of moderation in places like East Tennessee, Kansas, coastal S. Carolina,  and other places where moderates regularly fight the good fight against tyranny in contested primaries.

Andrew's crusaders would be Susan Collins, Jodi Rell, Christie Whitman, Chris Shays, and Rudy.  Mine would be Lamar Alexander, Howard Baker, Kirk Humphreys (tried to defeat Tom Coburn), Chuck Hagel, and John McCain.

I like both, but I voted for Andrew.

Admittdly though, when I read the title, I thought the Miami Vice version of Don Johnson was running against Andrew.

 Ehhh, I can always dream.

Eh, tough one. I think I'd lean towards Andrew though I am probably closer to Don. I guess it depends on who Jack Kemp would endorse. I mention this because it seems like Kemp and I always back the same candidates for a wide variety of offices. That being said, he'd probably back Don. And so I end this post exactly where I began - totally undecided.  Tongue

I'd pick don for a myriad of reasons not really relevant to ideology etc

Don would also probably win, southern centrist would probably beat a New Yorker/New Englander...

In that case, while I like Don, I'd have to go with Andrew.

No, no. I was just saying that if we're basing it on reasons not relevant to ideology, I'd definitley vote for Andrew.  Smiley
