I pledge to support whomever I feel best represents my views on the issues until they either drop out of the race or receive their respected nominations.  From that point, I pledge to vote for the person who best represents my views on the issues..........

(In other words, vowing to support someone solely on what party they are in is stupid.)

So Harry, if somehow all the other candidates died in a freak accident and Ron Paul became the Democratic nominee through some fluke, you'd vote for him?

Based on my past experience, all this is pointless.

Even the most fervent blue Hillhaters and McCain sycophants will, eventually, cast ballots for the Democrat through a serious of tortured rationalizations.

It never fails.

I hereby pledge to remain completely uninvolved with creepy cult-like organisations, such as political parties, Mormonism, Scientology, and Hillary Clinton.

LOL ... nice.

A conversation with a member of the Cult of Obama.
Them - "Will you vote for Barack Obama?"
Me - "What does he stand for?"
Them - "Change!"
Me - "Change into what?"
Them - "Uhh .... change from the way things are done in Washington!"
Me - "Changing it into what?"
Them - "Uhhh ... I don't know."
Me - "You should find that out before calling people."

I hereby pledge to support the Democratic nominee in November, no matter who it is unless Bloomberg runs, Minnesota is safe not to vote for the Republican, and Hillary fails to do enough to win me over by November.

I hereby pledge to support (that's all I can do my American friends!) the Democratic nominee unless John McCain is the GOP nominee, entirely depending on his campaign and on the campaign of his opponent.

This pledge will become null and void should Bloomberg run.

Realistically speaking I will probably line up behind either Obama or Hillary over any of the major Republicans.  Romney is creepy and I get the feeling Rudy would like a police state.  I'll consider McCain and Huckabee but will probably go Obama or Hillary.

I will say I'm worried that if Hillary gets the nom I hope the Obama supporters don't behave like the Deanies in '04 or the Naderites in '00.  That act got us 8 years of Bush and Cheney.

Sorry gang, Clinton lost any chance of having my support with her actions in the last half-week.

I hereby pledge to support the Democratic nominee in November, no matter who it is, unless the election is decided in advance anyways, in which case I will only support the Democratic nominee if his surname is taken from the Lucinda Williams album title "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road".

Sounds like the phone calls I've been having with friends supporting Obama.

I pledge to support the candidate whose issue stances most closely align with my views. If I must choose between a candidate who will continue an unfortunate cycle of nepotism in American politics and a candidate who makes T.R. seems like a pacifist, I will either vote for or write-in the name of the proud nanny-stater Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg.
