I've never actually clicked on that "ignore" button.  I did notice that it just appeared one day, a few years after I started posting here.  Not sure what it was.  At first, I found it curious.  Then I made a post asking about it, and several posters responded, saying that if you click on it then that poster's posts don't appear, or something like that.  Then, after I thought about that a while, I found the whole concept profoundly insulting to my intelligence.  Like, does that bastard Leip think I'm so stupid that I'm incapable of tuning out some jerk whose posts I don't want to read.  I generally ignore most posters' posts anyway, and I find it highly insulting that Leip would think I'd need software to aid me with that.  Like I'm the moron who can't fall asleep because of a ticking clock or something.  Then, after a while, I eventually got to the point where I'd ignore the "ignore" button.  In fact till I read this thread, I'd forgotten it was there.  Even when I saw the thread title, I'd assumed it was going to ask about how many free email accounts I'd gotten then forgotten about, or how many credit card accounts I've applied for just to get the New York Yankees blanket or the Saint Louis Cardinals towel, then never used.  That's why I clicked.  I have a whole closet full of MLB team mascot towels and blankets, and several wallets full of cards that I've never used.  Don't even get me started on the Amazon.com Visa account.  Get 30 dollars worth of free books if you apply for their credit card account.  I've got about seven of those by now, each used only once.  To order exactly 30 dollars worth of free merchandise.

Anyway, yeah, I ignore most everyone.  But I like to think that I am not so stupid that I would need any imbedded software to help me do that.
