Considering recent strong fundraising by Obama in Colorado and that other poll from August, which showed him in a tie with Giuliani while Clinton trailed by 6 in the same poll, itīs OK to assume that currently Obama would be competetive with any Republican in CO.

They typically are this early in the cycle, but they are accurate at election's end. They usually have Bush 5 points ahead of the field's average. My guess is that CO is a strict toss-up, if you combine RR's early season bais and demographic changes.

why on earth would the GOP nominate Romney? I have yet to see a poll with him leading. he's losing states the GOP has carried for years.
