Support of course meaning that he's your top choice and that you'd vote for him over all other candidates running including all the Democrats.

If I HAD to vote for a Republican, I'd definitely vote for him. But I'd vote any Democrat before him.

Not only would I vote for any Democrat over him, even Cynthia or Zell, I'd also vote for almost any Republican (not Coburn, Inhofe, or Lott of course)

All Democrats that aren't Zell Miller > Moderate Republicans (e.g. Linc Chafee) > Ron Paul > Other Republicans > Zell Miller

I am a bit libertarian myself, but Paul would come after McKinney.

McKinney isn't a Dem anymore.  She's a Green.

He's not a full blown republican either, but he's too generally conservative for me to ever consider him.

Why wouldn't all anti-Semites support him?

The overlabeling of anti-Semites and other racist groups is a reason I support Ron Paul.  The less power belonging to the PC Police the better

Mitty doesn't actually think that Democrats support Paul. It's just his way of saying that Democrats are sympathetic to Paul's foreign policy views, which he strongly detests.

No. I respect his beliefs, but much like McCain, whom I also respect, I wouldn't vote for him because I don't share his beliefs.

Now there's a candidate for faulty reasoning of the year.  "Ron Paul's supporters are labeled racists and anti-Semites!  Therefore, I'm for Ron Paul!"

I would support any of the Democrats save Kucinich or Gravel and virtually any of the Republicans before I would ever support Ron Paul.

As a Paul supporter, I’m inclined to agree with DWTL here. I think the reason he’s so popular amongst neo nazis is because he’s against hate crimes and wants to take a more even tone in the middle east, which inevitably will mean a distancing of the US from Israel.  Most of the other candidates don’t want to do this, so its natural that nazis and white supremacists would gravitate to Paul. But I do not personally see Paul as a racist now. People still give Harry Byrd flak over views he held 40 years ago, and I think that’s a rather cheap shot as well. Paul has legitimate political views that I do not believe should be written off just because many unsavory fellows agree with him for their own purposes.

Then again, I'm also not a Democrat, so I may be a bit biased in the first place.
