Walter. Because once he pushed for his plans of a complete handgun ban and fast food tax, his approval ratings would plummet to lower than Bush's, and he'd make his party a complete joke that would get crushed.

Really this is a race between someone who would ruin the Republican Party and someone who would ruin the Democratic Party.

Can imagine Democratic candidates in the mid-terms running against the extremely unpopular President Mitty? It'd make 2006 like a decent Republican year.
