Richardson always starts his answers with "here's what I would do".

Blitzer does not like Obama or was paid off.

He's not doing a very good job of disguising it.

Yes it looks that way.

OMG you misses teh Iran vote!!!11

Obama actually handled that really well.

Excellent response.

Blitzer: "Congressman Kucinich, you're the only one on stage that voted against the Patriot Act after 9/11."

Kucinich: "That's cause I read it."

Richardson's solution for fixing the Mexican economy and stemming illegal immigration: Tell the Mexican government to give everyone jobs.  Yeah, I'm sure that'll fix everything.  If he just tells them to make the jobs, the jobs will suddenly appear, and they'll surely pay as well as American jobs.

I thought Wolf was a Republican.   I still remember the infamous rape/murder question in '88 with a ruthless commitment to emotional reasoning.

Good night everybody, I'm attempting a comeback in the forum after several months of absence... I probably don't even know a lot of the new posters or all the new names old posters have.

anyway, some of my comments: I agree that Wolf was a pretty bad moderator. After watching around 70% of both parties debates in the past months, I should say that the Fox ones have been the ones with better questions in my opinion.

I think Joe Biden did again a pretty good job - In my mind he's the winner of this debate - not that that matters for much though.
I think Richardson, despite long answers, did considerably better than in previous debates - he was able to transmit more of his experience.
Hillary clearly learned the lesson from the past debate and kept Edward's and Obama's attacks at bay - I actually think she handled Edwards superbly. I'm however extremely disappointed she said NAFTA had been a mistake and that caused me to immediately drop her as a politician I support on FAcebook.
Obama did exactly what he accused Hillary of doing in the last debate - he messed up his answers on immigration - he seemed not to know what to say or how to say it many times.
Edwards was handled swiftly for his negativeness.. I think this is a losing debate for him.
1) Biden 2) Hillary 3) Richardson 4) Dodd 5) Obama 6) Kucinich 7) Edwards

I also agree Biden won the debate. Of the top three I liked Edwards the best, but think most people will think that Hillary won mainly because she made no huge mistake. As it is however I found the most interesting thing here to be when Kucinich said he would not support the Democratic nominee if they support the war or something like that. That seemed like a shot at Clinton, and just stood out to me. I don't think anything will come of it, but you never know.

All of the pundits on CNN declared Clinton the winner (although lets remember that most of the CNN pundits have worked or still work for Clinton).

I can't believe I'm saying this but I think Biden won the debate and if Clinton is still upset about her "unfair treatment" at the hands of Russert in the Philly debate, I expect her to be downright horrifired at the borderline hit job Blitzer pulled on Obama tonight.

CNN is a ridiculous, hack network. After the debate, the two political commentators both formerly worked for Bill Clinton and both publicly support Hillary Clinton, and yet neither the network nor the guests pointed out that they were Clinton partisans.

Exactly. The blogs are going nuts over this and over the debate itself where you had an amazingly rude pro-Clinton audience and a moderator who clearly favored Clinton over Obama and Edwards.

Does anyone know where I can download/watch the debate.

I think the best parts of the debate occurred in the first 10-15 minutes.  After that, it became fairly lame.  Biden had probably the best opening statements, while I was sure Edwards was going to jump out of his chair and beat Killary over the head towards the end when they began going at it with each other.

In a nutshell: I dont even describe Hillary placing in the top 3 best performers of last night...let alone actually WINNING. Neither with Edwards and Obama but they both did "fair to good". I think the winners are along the lines of Dodd or Biden.
