Not if it's public schools since it'd involve my tax dollars. If private schools I have zero objection to this.

I hate to be the voice of prudery, but no, for two reasons:
1. It's not necessary to enhance a sexual experience.  It can compliment someone's experience depending on who they are and what their interests are, but it is not a universally helpful addition.
2. A lot of pornography can be demeaning towards women.

The school could tell students where they can find pornography if they request it.

I don't really think there's any comparison between lubricant & pornography.

I support schools distributing the former, FTR.

I think porn would encourage young people to jack off instead of have sex. They could make sure to only give out porn that isn't very "degrading" to women.

I don't mind if they're having sex though, as long as they do it safely.

Jacking off is the only 100% safe way to get your rocks off.

It's not 100% safe - there's always the off chance you'll harm yourself in the process! KEEP THAT IN MIND NEXT TIME!

A valid point.

No, it can be offensive to women. Nobody is demeaned by pornography who doesn't want to be "demeaned." Their "dignity" has a price.

Also what about gay porn? Does that demean men? If so, then why is the "porn is demeaning" argument always about Women?

At first, I was about to comment that only a sexually frustrated, socially inapt teenager could conceive of an idea so inane. Then I recalled that this is the Atlas Forum, and I should only expect as much.

The prurience and baleful lack of imagination displayed in this "debate" has actually disgusted me. Of all the things you could request from your school --- better integration with local colleges and universities; a revival of home economics; PE that consists of more than just basketball, and, dare I hope?, separate laboratories for chemistry and physics, since we should stop pretending they are the same subject --- here you all are wishing taxpayers subsidize pornographers to satisfy your masturbation habits.

I am about sick of this place.

With how easy porn is to find these days, I hardly think this is necessary.

Yeah, that. Its not appropriate to use tax dollars for that at all, especially given the condition of some schools, but I have no moral objection to it.

True but there are some parents who don't allow their kids to use the computer.
