Yes, but I prefer, as Mr. Moderate said in this post earlies, meangless sex (but with grils)

How romantic.

It's much easier and much more honest.

Relationships just lead to lying and deceit. Pure self-indulgence and hedonism is the way to go.

i used to think so!  but its simply not so....personality is key.  i used to base everything on looks and it always got me screwed (and not in the good way, tiger Wink ).

not that i'm in a relationship, i'm not, but good ones do exist even if they're few and far between.  its even harder to find someone worth your time when you're gay, trust me--so feel lucky and previliged!! (if you're straight, that is)

my ideal guy is jim from the office

and i've only ever met one person pretty much just like him

Ah well, I'm bi, but I lean hetero pretty much, so ya know. I've tried some form of relationship before (read, unphysical in ANY WAY) and it didn't really go well.

I disagree Cheesy Sexuality is not a 'barrier' to having a hell of a good relationship. I've been with Chris for over 4 years now. Turned out my ideal guy was the one I met and fell in love with Smiley

A friend of Chris' has a long distance, cross country relationship thats had it's ups and dows; not in how they feel about each other but in simply being together and they are getting married next year.

The fact that 35% of people answered 'No' to this worries me.

Well, many of them were gays, who prefer boyfriends.

Funniest thing I've heard on this forum for quite a while.

Speaking of Dorian Gray, I would have expected its prose to at least be as flamboyant as Oscar Wilde himself.

Yes, and each one ends worse than the one before. It's too bad men need women in our lives in order to survive. They are such wonderful creates, yet they cause so much drama in our lives!

Well, maybe in the West, but in Eastern Europe it was a disaster

I do admit that being in a relationship can be annoying and smothering at times, but fortunately my life's arrangement right now (described a few pages back) seems to be perfect in that regard.

"Meaningless" sex isn't necessarily so, anyway, just because it's not within the confines of a relationship. Just has a different meaning to it.
