He further claimed the only correction to this system was “a massive overhaul” requiring control of the executive branch, with a partisan attorney general. After that, according to the now director of the FBI, “you have to wipe out the FBI” and close down its nerve center in Washington DC.

So far, Patel’s dream has become reality: Trump is in the White House with Pam Bondi as his attorney general and Patel has already relocated up to 1,500 agents from FBI headquarters at the J Edgar Hoover building in DC. Targeting “Antifa” could very well be among his next actions.

But the FBI ignoring the threat of domestic terrorism emanating from the far right, in favor of focusing on anti-fascist or BLM protesters from years ago, risks emboldening neo-Nazi groups that are already rebuilding under a friendlier law enforcement climate.

Nothing new here. The California Anti-Terrorism Information Center seemed to mainly go after anti Iraq war protestors. After they warned of violence at a protest in Oakland in 2003, there was violence, all from the cops.
