Before anyone claims he’s talking about the protests/vandalism, he specifically said the boycotts are illegal!

Whatever happened to being allowed to not buy Health Insurance? This is why all the anti-anti-Israel boycotts stuff is retarded. You don't even have to support Palestine or not support Israel to believe that.

Seems like a long-winded way of supporting the traditional Republican position that well-connected American businesses have a right to a profitable business model. (In this case, selling crappy, over-priced cars.)

I see we're now up to a right-wing definition of "free speech" that adds "billionaires have a right to a profit" and "enabling the censorship of authoritarian regimes" to their existing list of "private corporations aren't allowed to make decisions the right doesn't like", "we get to force others to listen to us", "the right to silence anyone we don't like", and "facing consequences for our actions is unfair".

He's probably referring to the vandalism of Teslas/the stations.

It isn't, but people who try to vandalize vehicles owned by individuals should be prepared for consequences (which may include being fired upon by owners), especially in red states.

How often do I have to buy a new Tesla to be in compliance with the law?

Why do you always try to interpret this nonsense in the most charitable way possible?

Suggesting that anyone whose property was damaged by Musk's rocket debris is entitled to shoot him is certainly a bold position, but okay.

That's not what I said, and you know that's not what I said. If Mr. Musk personally goes onto your property and vandalizes your car, the law is on your side.

I can at least appreciate that he began his post by describing the three discrete groupings of "Republicans, Conservatives, and all great Americans".

Trump would like to declare anything he doesn't like illegal. Typical mindset of a wannabe dictator.

So the billionaire is allowed to bombard the public with his toxic rocket debris, and they have no recourse. Meanwhile, if they might damage one of his glued-together cars, they can be shot.  I understand that's not what you mean, but that's the practical outcome - one set of rules for labor, another for capital. That's how you end up with violent dystopias much, much worse than America has now

If I buy a car that was produced by Mr. Musk's company, and you go onto my property and vandalize it, you aren't vandalizing Mr. Musk's car. You are vandalizing mine.

Guns are for all intents and purposes banned in my country. If I lived in the United States, and my car was vandalized, I would certainly stand my ground.

Okay. It's still not illegal to boycott "Mr. Musk's" companies.

It's hilarious watching people try desperately to cover for Trump's utter stupidity.

Why Democrats haven’t made Trump stupidity the number one talking point since 2015 is beyond me. Simple but effective attack.

Ironically, most of what he does like also happens to be illegal.

Education polarisation already hurts them. Trump is stupid, and so are millions of the voters they need.
