I'm willing to bet CARLHAYDEN and apparentely Inks aren't too fond of that movie.

CARLHAYDEN needs to return. His comedy is missed.

Of course not... but I thought "Children of Men" was an excellent movie, and incredibly well made.  There is a lot of depth to that movie and you notice new things every time you watch it.

The only thing that bothered me is Clive Owen wasn't his typical badass self. I wanted to see him pick up a gun and shoot people left and right.

Come to think of it, did he even hold or fire a gun in the entire movie? Most of it seemed to be him avoiding other people with guns, particularly during the infamous sequence near the end.

No. He killed a total of 2 people in the movie.

Compare that to the recently released Shoot 'Em Up on the other hand. He had a toll in that similar to Arnold in Total Recall.

Rent it. You might like it since there is some implication the world receives some sort of divine punishment for its wickedness.

I would suggest watching it if, even, for no other reason than to watch the cinematography, which I have to say is absolutely stunning and unique. It was a very good movie, though I did have a few problems with it, and as for the immigration policies no I do not support them.

I think it was most striking to me when you saw the elderly German woman begging for food from the British.  It just shows how vulnerable everyone is, and just how delicate our way of life really is.
