Shouldn't Trump be laser focused on lowering the price of eggs?

And bacon?

I don't see how golfing makes my bacon cheaper.

Or my eggs.

Let me tell you why Trump can't keep his commitment to lowering prices: the proper way to actually lower prices would be to crack down and regulate the companies which are raising prices, but said companies have donated lots of money to Trump and/or other politicians in his party in exchange for deregulation of these companies to allow them to increase profits by raising prices.

People don’t care. And while Trump is ridiculous in many ways, having a day of recreation is good for the resting/recharging the mind and good for the judgment. Not that Trump will become less Trump, but each human deserves something to help them relax and be happy.

Democrats obsessing over stuff like this is a losing strategy, just petty noise that turns off others.

Funny, I remember Republicans going wild when Obama would go golfing.

He's bad at golfing and governing. But I prefer him golfing instead of governing.

I must've missed when you criticized Republicans for doing this for Biden's DE trips then. Also, no, it's literally the first week. You do not need a day off after barely one week. You should be back to being President. Save the vacation for months down the line. Not sure why you're suddenly going all out to defend Trump, but IMO that is a much bigger issue - when people give Trump - and only Trump - this weird benefit of the doubt that they would give no one else, basically normalizing any decision he makes. THIS is why we're at where we are at! I have no idea why people are obsessed with only giving this one particular man such benefit all the damn time.

Ask Bryson DeChambeau if Trump is bad at golfing.

If you criticize the man with the most stressful job in the world for taking an afternoon off once a week to play golf and stay active, you’re a dweeb.

It was lame when Bush got criticized for it. It was lame when Obama got criticized for it, and it’s lame when trump gets criticized for it. (Didn’t have to worry about it with Biden because Democrats propped up a mentally and physically incapacitated man who couldn’t swing a golf club)

Again, if Trump wants to do this three months from now, fine. But it's literally week 1.

What people do on Sunday doesn't matter. Goes for all of the presidents. That said, Trump should probably be doing something better for cardio. He lost weight but the guy is still carrying a spare tire.

I'm a Democrat. I'm very anti-Trump. I did always think the GOP attacks on Biden, Obama were ridiculous. And yes, humans deserve a day of rest, there's a thing called weekends. It's not like he wasn't on call, and doesn't have enough staff in place yet. You're attacking me for the wrong reasons, and the attack/premise of this thread is just such a nothingburger.

How about this: every time the price of eggs goes down, he can go golfing as a reward. Since he's such a stable genius who makes the best deals, it should be super easy. Give him an hour to talk to the CEO of eggs and we should be all good in no time!

Yeah, it was a Sunday.  I don't care until he starts blowing off weekdays.  Everybody needs days off each week, especially if you're as old and infirm as he is.

He may have a reputation for being unpredictable, but he is incredibly predictable.

Maybe this is a good thing though. Maybe he front-loaded everything he wanted to do in his first week and will just d*** around for the rest of his term. That would be a bit of a relief-still not ideal, of course. But the less he does, the better. I say let him golf!

Grateful for every day he spends on the course. Hobbies help to keep a man balanced, especially later in life. He should take up more of them.

Aside from Trump, I've never understood the fascination for golf. It's not even a real sport.

Come now, it's a sport by any reasonable definition of one.

I am not entertained by it though, mini golf aside.

Remember the period of time when NutJob trump supporters had a conniption fit, that "Obama" (during his presidency) was supposedly spending all his time "golfing"?

Bunch of Morons.

I think Trump ultimately spent something like four times as much time golfing as Obama did.
