Anyways, now that I dealt with that, let's get back on topic.

Bob Smith is an interesting historical one. He served in 1990, got primaried in 2002, moved to Florida, had 2 failed runs there in 2004 and 2010, only to move back to NH and run in 2014.

Who was the guy who ran in Nevada and then moved to Texas? He was a Republican and embraced the right wing stereotype wholeheartedly.
Dan Rodimer.
I remember now, with the fake rodeo.

And when he ran in that Texas special, he got less than 3% of the vote and did worse than a Never Trumper endorsed by Kinzinger.

And went on to be arrested for murder

Does Mitt Romney kind of count? He lost a Senate race in 1994 to Ted Kennedy in Massachusetts, and he would have lost his Senate seat in Utah had he run for re-election.

I suppose that by 1994 he had been living in Massachusetts as an adult for over two decades, though it’s not like he had family roots there, in contrast to Kennedy. Utah is kind of the opposite situation in that his mother was raised in Utah as was his father to a somewhat extent, and obviously the Romneys being one of the prominent Mormon families—but aside from attending BYU and later, buying a vacation home, Mitt didn’t live there until 2018.

Very funny how Nutmeg condescended to me, threw a fit once I gave his attitude back to him, and dodged my response. Almost like he can't take what he dishes out!
