The Republicans in CA got horrendously unlucky with scandals and squeaker close races.
TX has to have suddenly done an "OH 2006", rejecting Rs up and down the ticket. Ditto with FL.

I like how the blue waves in the four biggest states got all the attention but not (for just one example) Democrats managing to blow MI-12. The only question is is that kind of skewed attention what would happen IRL?
