Really? It should be Aleksandr.

But I've never heard the name "Annya" before. Alexandrovna is probably the most common feminine patronymic in Russia.

Gaël in a French spelling, Gael in a (original) Breton spelling.

Fairly recent uniquely Breton name which means 'white price' - gwenn (white) and mael (prince). Used to be shortform for Judicaël, God I'd hate having that name.

Also the name of the people who settled Ireland and parts of Scotland, though there are apparently no Gaël first names in either of those countries.

Also spelled as Gwenaël, Gaïl or Gaëlle, a girl's name (which seems more common).

Of course, no English-speakers can pronounce my name correctly.
