Someone who is suspectable to anti-Muslim rhetoric but otherwise not especially conservative and got fed up with Trump's antics quickly.

Hmm, I'm thinking maybe someone who has populist and national security hawk tendencies, but otherwise doesn't really have strongly defined political positions.

-Voted for McCain in 2008 for foreign policy related reasons, and maybe also likes him on a personal level because of his military service record.
-Voted for Obama in 2012 because they considered Romney to be an out of touch elitist.
-Voted for Trump in 2016 because they bought into the populist hype and/or they considered Clinton to be corrupt.
-Voted for Biden in 2020 due to disappointment with Trump after his various scandals while in offline and possibly also because of the pandemic.
-Voted for Harris in 2024, although perhaps reluctantly, because of 1/6.

1. A hawkish-leaning independent who voted for McCain because they supported the Iraq War. Voted for Obama because he was more hawkish than expected, then returned to the GOP before supporting Biden over Trump's response to Covid and later Harris over 1/6.

2. A conservative laid off by Bain Capital who later turned on Trump.

3. A resident of Milford Pennsylvania

1. They like Republicans who believe in climate change. After Trump left the Paris agreement, they realized that Trump no longer believes in climate change.

2. A Republican leaner who loved Obama's Hurricane Sandy response and decided that Trump was the worst President ever after he botched the pandemic.

Random person from suburban Anchorage who got swept up in the populist frenzy of 2016 and quickly regretted their vote afterward.
