I don't think any of them will be remembered that much but I would say Trump vs Biden because of Biden dropping out. Otherwise none of them would be considered memorable.

Trump vs. Biden for the effect on the race but not the debate itself, Trump vs. Harris for the "they're eating the dogs" soundbite, Vance vs. Walz for absolutely nothing at all

Isn't the Trump vs. Biden debate the most consequential debate in presidential history since it directly resulted in Biden being replaced? Combine that with the spectacle of seeing Biden implode on live TV, and it will by far stay the most remembered.

Plus, it's pretty funny that Trump lost the most support from the one general election debate that he ever managed to win.

The VP debate if Vance were to go on to dramatically outperform all other 21st century R's in 2028/32.  The Trump vs. Biden June debate in any other scenario.

Pretty obviously Trump vs Biden. That was hands down the most influential presidential debate in history.

I'm remembering now that some D Avatars actually suggested Trump's debate performance against Kamala would have a comparable effect to how Biden's performance did him in. Absolutely laughable hackery in retrospect. Negative political instinct. It's like thinking you're taking somebody's pulse accurately but you're using your thumb and just measuring your own pulse.

Trump vs Biden, it was actually a significant historical event in that it single-handedly led to the retirement of a sitting president.

Trump vs Kamala is literally only remembered for “THEY’RE EATING THE PETS” and that was only 3 months ago lol

Tough call between "they're eating the dogs!" Or the debate that singlehandedly ended Biden's campaign.

Trump v. Biden, specifically because Biden was donezo after that.

Would've been Trump v. Harris if 300,000 had just gone the other way in The Rust Belt.

Trump vs. Biden will not only be the most remembered of 2024, it will be one of the most remembered debates of all time by virtue of ending Biden's campaign. While some other Presidential debates have definitely hurt the losing candidate substantially, none of them until now has forced him to drop out.

There are only 3 memorable Trump general election debates. 2016#2, 2020#1, and that June one which will go down as the most important debate in US history. The SITTING US President was literally forced off the ticket because of a debate which is insane to think about in hindsight.

Trump Harris was incredibly forgettable. I honestly don't remember anything Kamala even said which shows you how empty calories her rhetoric was. Trump did say some notable things, but without an audience to laugh it just didn't have the same impact as it could have. I would argue Vance vs Walz was more important and memorable, since it was the first time we actually saw Vance speak and argue his points against the guy who called him weird. There was also actual substance and I think good discussions occured.

Trump v Biden led to a president dropping out of the race. It's the most memorable presidential debate in American history and it'll be a high bar to surpass

Isn't the Trump vs. Biden debate the most consequential debate in presidential history since it directly resulted in Biden being replaced? Combine that with the spectacle of seeing Biden implode on live TV, and it will by far stay the most remembered.

This, obviously, but I still think the single most viral soundbite was the "they're eating the dogs" from Trump-Harris.

Vance-Walz has absolutely nothing going for it. It was pre-Trump levels of boring.

The VP debate did have the famous Vance side-eye thing.

For me personally, what I remember from the Trump-Harris debate is when she shredded him for being laughed at by world leaders and that the generals think he is a disgrace, and he then used Viktor Orban's endorsement as a rebuttal. It was so pathetic but also so revealing.
