Given the election is now complete, what effect, if any, did the immigration debate have on the outcome of the 2024 election?

It can be broken down into three aspects:

(a) Kamala Harris performance and promises;
(b) Actual effect on the ground of having millions of new immigrants arriving; and
(c) Trump's promises for deportation.

Obviously Trump.

However, I do think that anyone voting on immigration at all was always going to be for Trump. And even if there was factually zero undocumented immigration somehow, the Republicans would still run on false or exaggerated narratives about it.
