The Utah numbers were just updated and it seems to be reporting write-ins for counties like Salt Lake County and Cache. Where are those numbers coming from? I've downloaded the official certified report and the precinct-level spreadsheets to try to figure it out but nowhere do I see the result that was indicated on the site.

Any clarification to this would be very helpful! Thanks in advance.

Agreed. Very confused how these numbers were added. As an example, I compared the data between Sevier County from 2020 and 2024. In 2020, there were no write-ins, probably because the county didn't report any. This year, they also didn't report any. However, there are 65 write-ins listed for Sevier on the results page for the county.

This seems to be a systemic change. There are 8 counties which I could not find write-in data for earlier this morning. All 8 now have write-ins listed on the results page for the county. Could we get some clarity on how these numbers were added?
