I proposed this as a sort of Sister Souljah moment and I think it would've helped. It would've eliminated being seen out of touch with young voters and might've pissed off the purple haired gender studies students crowd which would've resulted in them backlashing against her and thus a net benefit with everyone else. That helps over any issue that isn't Gaza pretty much.

Unfortunately some on the left did decide this isn't unimportant or extremely niche and drove a bunch of young men to the Joe Rogan infosphere and radicalization as a result.

To people who say it was not an issue: Why did Landslide Lyndon keep pushing the narrative that anyone who didn't like them are right-wing incels so much here? And if you say he's just some random guy in Greece who can't even vote in US elections: Where do you think he was getting this idea from? He clearly was tuned into low quality US liberal Twitter accounts considering how often he kept posting them? The guy unironically posted Alex Cole before....regardless though he's not the issue here, but there was clearly an ecosphere of podcasts and the dumbest center-left people on Twitter who were pushing this as a thing.

Leaving aside the fact that normal people would find it extremely weird and offputting if Harris tried to make "I think [insert Hollywood blockbusters] were terrible" a big thing, the people who hated the Disney Star Wars movies as much as a lot of atlas peeps do were a vocal minority(Even the third one, which has writing that is bad by fanfic standards, is not something most people care about enough to bring up in a campaign). Overwhelmingly male nerd spaces are not representative of the population as a whole(neither are twitter microcelebrities for that matter.)

Honestly, I think Trump's advantage is that he's willing to show everybody exactly who he is. There is no filter, for good and bad.
