I might not agree 100% with everything he says, but I do like John Fetterman, I find him refreshing.  I have a feeling though in 2028 he'll be running for the Democratic nomination.  Probably won't win, but I definitely think he's looking at it.

Yeah, I don't really understand the hate that Fetterman gets among Democrats. He's a loyal Democratic vote on all the important issues, and he tonally appeals to exactly the sort of voters that Dems need to take back in order to become the majority party again.

I think he should just put on that damn hoodie and run for President.  Him and Eminem maybe, on a bus stop tour of small towns.

Fetterman, especially if Trump’s term goes poorly. Garrity’s only brand is allegiance to Trump and Trumpism, so it may help her win a primary but as for a general? Not too sure about that.

I’ve grown increasingly convinced that Fetterman will either retire or face a primary challenge, though I’m not sure if it will be anyone significant. This race in particular could be extremely chaotic.

Yeah, I don't really understand the hate that Fetterman gets among Democrats. He's a loyal Democratic vote on all the important issues, and he tonally appeals to exactly the sort of voters that Dems need to take back in order to become the majority party again.

Does he, though? Does he really? Or is our belief that he does a sign of how out-of-touch our party and its leadership is with WWC voters? Just because Fetterman looks the part of a stereotypical WWC guy hardly means he has some magical appeal with them. He won by 5 points, yes, but it was in a good year for PA Dems and against a crappy carpetbagger candidate.

Anyways, given that I'm a Fetterman-loathing Democrat, I might as well run through the bucket list really quick:
- Shot at an unarmed black guy (I'll be honest, this is not a major issue atp - but certainly it doesn't help my or anybody else's view of Fetterman)
- Absolute lack of respect for constituents and colleagues: has recorded and mocked constituents asking genuine questions; insists on wearing the rattiest and most unprofessional clothing to the Senate (perhaps this is his backhanded expression of being WWC?)
- In stark contrast to the previous point, is not only strongly pro-Israel (that in itself is a flaw many Democrats, not just Fetterman, have), but openly grovelled for Bibi and showed him a level of respect he apparently thinks neither colleagues nor constituents deserve
