Most likely, no Republican seats will flip aside from maybe Maine and North Carolina, but we need good candidates in all of the "reach" states in case something fortuitous happens. Brown is probably the best bet in Ohio if he's interested.

I agree that he is our best bet in a reach seat. A great deal rests on the outcome of the GOP primary - DeWine is likely to pick someone sane, but sane candidates don't have the best track record in GOP primaries.

I hope he goes for it.  He'd be the underdog, but if 2026 is a big enough blue wave, he may be able to pull it off.
