Two counter-points:

1. If Iran nuked Israel, then Iran would probably be nuked back.

There are reports that Israel has three submarines on constant patrol in the Persian Gulf, all of which carry nuclear weapons.

Obviously Iran getting nuked would have vast Homeric ramifications.

It seems like you are wishing for everyone on Earth to have seven years of horrible pain and suffering and tortures beyond imagination.

No, I want everybody to become a Christian so they can spend eternity in heaven with God.

If Israel and Iran do decide to start nuking each other, I hope they don't go around nuking Jerusalem and Tehran and the like. Not only is that millions of dead people, that a hell of a lot of history for a bunch of fundamentalist idiots to ruin for the rest of us.

Tehran is not a particularly holy city in Shiite Islam.

Now, if Israel bombed Qom or Shiraz, that would be a different matter entirely ...

Also what the hell is good about the end times. It seems like you are wishing for everyone on Earth to have seven years of horrible pain and suffering and tortures beyond imagination. Who could actively support that type of pain for his fellow man, especially one who hasn't done anything wrong beyond not believe in your own warped view of Christianity. Not much difference between you and Ahmadinejad when you strip away the veneer.

If you can believe that those who are not saved deserve eternal torment in hell, that's pretty much just a mild version of that.

Even the saved DESERVE it, God's just gracious enough to forgive those who want to be forgiven.  But I deserve to be in hell just as much as anybody else on this forum.

Iran poses no serious threat to Israel.

Are you for real?

Any Arab country poses a threat to Israel - it's the nature of the conflict.  ESPECIALLY when Iran has nukes/is close to getting them.

Yes. They would never actually nuke them because of the backlash (which would be Iran getting wiped off the face of the Earth).

There have been reports like this for YEARS now.

While this administration has been responsible for acts of RAMPANT stupidity when it comes to the military. I really doubt the US military, as over stretched as it is, could manage it's present referee position in Iraq and a war against an enemy that can actually fight back.

And Inks is exactly why I want to make sure those looney fundies have NO role in the next administration - like that CRACKPOT general who belived that a picture of a shadow taken at high speed from a chopper was an EVIL SPIRIT... which was responsbile for bringing down the Black-Hawks in Mogadishu

1.1 Iran has reached a level where invading it would be foolish as it would require total war, not just a "side war" like Iraq and Vietnam.

1.2 The current-admin would need well over 1 million soldiers just to keep the region quiet after an air force strike, which in itself, will be hard to accomplish, since Iran has a lot of SAMs installed all over the country. And if they actually want to start an occupation, they would need 4 million soldiers, minimum.

1.3  Most of Iran's nuclear and military installations are deep within mountains, and therefore VERY hard to destroy, even with bunker busting bombs and missiles.

1.4 Invading Iran would cause Iran to close the Strait of Hormoz, through which 40% of all the world's oil supply passes through. there would be a MASSIVE international oil shortage, which would hinder their war effort (because tanks, planes and ships need oil to run)

1.5 Just getting to Iran is gonna be a problem. the Zagros mountains act as a natural wall, and only a few planes can easily pass through them, because they look like an obstacle course. i think a ridiculous number of UAVs got lost there, something like 15 American ones out of a possible 20-25.
