Right now he is ahead of 4.3 Million votes

around 13 million votes across the nation left to be counted

and a whooping 7.5 million is from California! with Maryland, Colorado and Washington around 500K each.

Will Trump eke out a win in the PV or Harris prevails in the end?

If those numbers you gave are accurate, than Harris has to get about 67% of the remaining vote in order to surpass Trump's lead. Not happening.

I noticed that he had more than a 4.5 million-vote lead for a long time, but it slipped today to 4.3 million.

Sadly, yes. I didn't think it would happen.

It's bittersweet. At least we can't blame the electoral college tgis time. Although him winning the popular vote, and being the first Republican to do so in 20 years, is a really depressing reflection of what is now most of the country when previously he never did better than 47%.

It means I'm now in the minority, and a pariah in my nation. I expect the goosesteppers to be coming for me any day after January 20.

The only question here is if he stays above 50%.

Yeah, I'm still not calling it yet. Waiting on the CA results. +50% would be a complete mandate for Trump but that's not been done since 2004 on the R side and really changes the narrative.

This whole "Trump has a ceiling of 47%" thing was always nonsense since we are dealing with relative numbers here. If democrats don't show up, and they didn't, then Trump can go way above 47% as proven this time around.

Hope he stays above 50%

He could easily come close to 80m votes. The irony.

It'll be close. And those people who didn't bother to vote hopefully get a reality check if Trump's new administration goes balls to the walls with insanity.

She’ll narrow it down from here, but the popular vote will be in the range of Trump +1.0-1.8

They will. They'll regret it, and I'd laugh in their faces if there was anything funny about it anymore.

Yes, but I don't think he holds 50%.

And the final answer is this.
