He’s planning to extend his independent roots on twitter while accomplishing absolutely nothing, as always! Cheesy
I think you're mistaking him for the Democratic leadership

Maybe Bernie should look inwards and ask himself for once why his own views are unpopular and out of touch with the American people.

Definitely.

He would've lost worse than Hillary. You can't call yourself a socialist and expect that Americans will support you. Doesn't matter what "socialism" actually is, it's a scary word to the populace and he would've lost terribly.

He's right about courting the wealthy. As far as tinkering on the edges,Dem's didn't have the kind of majorities to really make big change. Plus, they had two individuals(Manchin and Sinema)who blocked anything big. Even popular programs like a increased child tax credit or voting rights. Those kind of things depressed many base voters.

Better to try that experiment and get it over with and see what happens. Maybe he wins. Maybe he loses--but we'd have been better off with a Sanders loss in 2016 or 2020 than with where we are now, imo. I think he had nonzero chances of winning though.

Clearly middle America isn't scared of fascism anymore so socialism may benefit from the same "boy who cried wolf" syndrome. Americans are desensitized.

Bernie always fell in line for the Democrats in the general election and he still gets nothing but hate from supposed ideological allies. I think some Democrats hate him more than Trump.

Oh it's clear they'd rather have Trump be President than him.

Live shot of Dem organizing groups who've spent the last 4 years laying low:

to expand on this... for all the criticism some have for OFA and it's impact on Dem organizing... a group like Our Revolution just disappeared off the map since 2020, didn't it? the same "let's lay low with a Dem in office" approach from some groups hit some of the same groups that I guess are gonna either reemerge or get repackaged in 2025
