David O. Sacks, another apartheid failson from Thielworld, will be a "crypto and AI czar."

Sacks has a sh**tty podcast and tows the Thiel/Musk party line on portraying Putin's invasion as Ukraine's fault.

An administration of losers. Literally. Chavez-DeRemer, Oz, Loeffler, and now Perdue.

And Doug Collins! Collins, Loeffler, and Perdue all lost Senate races in Georgia in 2020.

This tweet is the perfect encapsulation of how awful the press is at covering Trump. Donald Trump is literally the one who is nominating these people! Yet the framing on this and every other story about the confirmation battles treats him as a bystander!

Like if it concerned Trump that badly, why did HE nominate him in the first place???

I mean people should not discount this at all. The type of stuff RFK espouses is very prevalent among PNW liberals for example .

Portland , Oregon for example does not Flouride its water and a suburb of Portland voted against doing so this November.

Hegseth needs to stay in and the Senate needs to take a vote on him. I would be fine if he loses there, but if he drops pursuit of the nomination they are going to go after Tulsi and RFK next. In fact, Gaetz was the one overshadowing Hegseth until last week. The R Senate won't have enough political capital to reject more than one of Trump’s picks if they do reject at all.

Press X to doubt

The bio of the person sharing says "advisor to RFK Jr" so there's that.

Of course we've come to expect beep boop to post things without checking the source by now.

Also "MAHA" is a joke. The only way I could see Bernie doing this is if Bobbeh makes an actual firm commitment (backed up by his dipsh**t boss) to implement/advocate a public option or more. That seems doubtful with apartheid bitch and cryptoswamy trying to dismantle the government though.

Nearly 100 former national security officials 'alarmed' at prospect of Gabbard leading intel community
In the letter obtained by NBC News, the officials urged the Senate to “carefully evaluate” whether Gabbard is “equipped” for the position, which requires Senate confirmation.

Quote
Nearly 100 former national security officials signed a letter criticizing President-elect Donald Trump's decision to nominate former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard for director of national intelligence and called for closed-door Senate hearings to review any government information about her.

In the letter obtained by NBC News, the officials urged the Senate to "carefully evaluate" whether Gabbard is "equipped" for the position, which requires Senate confirmation.

"Several of Ms. Gabbard’s past actions call into question her ability to deliver unbiased intelligence briefings to the President, Congress, and to the entire national security apparatus," the letter said. "Following her trip to Syria, for example, Ms. Gabbard aligned herself with Russian and Syrian officials."

...

“Senate committees should consider in closed sessions all information available to the U.S. government when considering Ms. Gabbard’s qualifications to manage our country’s intelligence agencies, and more importantly, the protection of our intelligence sources and methods," they wrote.

That would be totally stupid IMO and Thune isn't that stupid. He will only bring the Hegseth Nomination to the Floor if he has the Votes to confirm him.

Since some people here seem confident Hegseth will make it then let's make a bet. My bet is he won't survive a Senate Floor Vote. And I go even further on this and say that he even won't get voted out of the Senate Armed Services Cmte.

Hegseth is a tossup right now, but I feel confident saying that if Gaetz was still in contention for AG, Hegseth would have a good chance of getting through since all of the controversy would be on Gaetz. If Hegseth withdraws, I think they move on to Tulsi next.

Well good. Look at the story I posted. 100 former national security officials think she needs a hard look including though closed door briefings.

I think I could live with this cabinet if Hegseth, Gabbard and Patel get the boot. Ideally Bobbeh too. The fact that Trump couldn't just have regular picks with, you know, qualifications and relevant experience, shows how much he's mentally deteriorated.
