Not a wise thing to say given that Florida is 5.3% Puerto Rican and Pennsylvania is 3.6% Puerto Rican.

Florida probably doesn't matter much at this point but every vote in PA is critical

This is amazing.
I'm just numb to all this trump/MAGA hate at this point.
And the fact they can get away with it, and the public still supports these Bigots.

Well, they didn’t. Because Trump lost in 2020

Trump and everyone around him hate America, and I wish more people would realize that.

Reposting from the other thread:

Why would he say that? I almost never use this term but that is... racist?

The speaker is Tony Hinchcliffe, a comedian whose shtick is that he uses racial slurs and mock accents in his "comedy." This is actually mild by his standards. Why Trump's team would book him for the rally is the real question, but I guess the typical Trump supporter doesn't see anything wrong with him?

Trump called the US a garbage can for the world, so it makes sense to call its territories islands of garbage.

Given the piss poor response of the 2017 hurricane there and this comment, safe to say Trump is probably not gonna be liked by the PR community when all is said and done

He'll probably win a majority of the PR vote in Florida.

Puerto Rico is holding a straw poll between Harris and Trump on Nov 5th, for the record

Doubtful. Puerto Ricans are NOT Cubans or even close to being culturally or politically similar.

Well the fact that he's a comedian changes things. It was an unfunny joke imo but there's nothing more to it.

Have you seen the numbers out of Miami Dade? It's a blood bath.

And they already voted for Desantis in 2022 so...

Trump's team specifically invited this guy knowing this was the type of "joke" he would tell.

Conservatives know no type of comedy other than 'punching down'.

There's not that many Puerto Ricans in Miami-Dade.

I've just seen some stuff on social media and it sounds like a Klan rally. Someone pointed out that the Bund (a Nazi-sympathising organisation for German-Americans in the 1930s) used to hold big rallies in the same venues before the Second World War and drew a comparison with tonight's Trump rally.

And if you're going to insult a hispanic ethnic group, it's probably not a good idea to insult one whose members are all US citizens and therefore eligible to vote if they live in the 50 states.....

I don't understand this trend in right-wing "comedy" to be as offensive as possible. Stuff like this is just pure shock value and it's mean and lazy, not funny.

He must have taken his geography lessons at Trump University, otherwise he would know it's a part of the US. Or yet again they prove that they hate America. Or both. Probably both.
