Loudoun supposedly 94% in with a small but noticeable RW swing.

Around an 8 point swing

I wouldn't call 8 points right small - still waiting on verification from it

I don't wanna doom but if Loudon is right, Trump is the heavy favorite

How could Loudon be right when we see other suburbs shifting to the left?

If you were on the double digit Trump Florida train, congrats. He even has a shot at Palm Beach.

It was certainly dumb of Harris to waste resources there.

People are really obsessed with rural counties while completely ignoring that suburbs and cities look like they are shifting blue...
The rural counties complete first, so they're easier to analyze.  Its harder to get a grip on exactly how much Harris is gaining elsewhere.

Ok lets smell the coffee people.

Trump is up in Rurals everywhere.

Virginia looks close.
NH looks close.

Should we call it ?

So far, nothing to doom about. We need results from WI/MI/PA.

Maybe its Youngkin rebuilding the GOP image there after the tea party ran it to the ground in the 2010s

So far it is hard to tell which way the results are leaning towards. Wonder what the biggest surprises have been so far.

Harris is doing well in North Carolina but only 3% of the precincts are reported so far.

NC always has a decent D-lead. The question is whether The Research Triangle and Charlotte can hold up much, and that seems doubtful...especially after Loudon.

Loudoun County was not seriously contested by either candidate in contrast to the heavy battlegrounds, and Trump did rally in Virginia

If the turnout reports from PA are true, there’s no way Trump wins

Currently suburbs that have completed counting are a bit more Trumpy, not less.

Florida abortion referendum up to 59%. Weed at 56%. Seems weed is less popular politically than it was a few years ago, and it's pretty easy to understand why.

wait, why? genuinely
It's legal in a lot of places so we can more easily see its effects, and counter to widespread predictions, legalization has massively increased the amount of people who use it. Lots of driving while high and smelling it all over the place, and I'm far from the only one who has seen firsthand how it saps people of drive, ambition, and motivation. I don't know exactly where I stand on it but I'm definitely less gung-ho on legalization than I used to be.

This. I still support its legality on individual liberty grounds. But I also damn near destroyed my life during the covid era by getting addicted to it. Could that have happened before legalization? Sure. But legalization made it as easy as buying a pack of chips, which it wasn't in the days when you had to text sketchy drug dealers who wouldn't respond half the time.

Not the topic of this thread, not gonna get into it further than that. Just saying. There are absolutely valid anti-weed arguments that aren't just 80s era devil's lettuce nonsense.

Decent swing for Harris in Clark County Ohio with 46% of the vote in. Maybe demonizing an entire city wasn't a smart strategy.
