It could be worse. He could have gone with Hillary.

That is true. Hillary is the model of the partisan hack.

Dear god the failure. The only way you could have made it worse is switching #1 and #2.

Huckabee
Clinton
Giuliani
Richardson

I'm not a fan of any of the others. Should the election be Romney vs. Obama or some horrible outcome I don't know how I'd vote.

I'm betting it will be. In that event, I think you should vote Romney since he's still closest to what you believe.

Exactly my list right now. I like Richardson's experience and stances on the issues better, but Obama has far better speaking ability, charisma and overall vision than he seems to. Richardson just doesn't seem anywhere near as put together in terms of how he's presented himself.

You two should start a Libertarian Democrat club. I'd join even though I'm not quite a libertarian on economic issues.

Couldn't really think of anyone else who could go in the #3 spot. I still won't be endorsing anybody lower than #1, though.

Well like you said he is a Democrat and you are supporting a Democrat at least.

By "favorite" I mean the ones I like the most, not those I think most likely to win. (Actually my "favorite" Republicans would be the ones I think most likely to lose.)

Democrats (in no particular order): Richardson, Biden, Edwards

Republicans: McCain, Huckabee, Paul. I don't agree with McCain on a lot of issues, but I like him for his integrity.

Paul
Hunter and Tancredo are about even
Then probably Brownback and Huckbee, just because they are not Rudy McRompson.
