1912: President William Howard Taft is renominated by the Republicans in an acrimonious convention. Former President Theodore Roosevelt walks out and establishes the Progressive Party, popularly called the "Bull Moose Party."

The Democrats nominate House Speaker Champ Clark of Missouri.

Who wins? Maps.

Here's mine:

Clark (D): 265
T. Roosevelt (P): 258
Taft (R): 8

This could be overly generous to Roosevelt. I figured he would do better as the sole "progressive" in the race and against a relatively conservative Democrat like Clark.
