Option 2 obviously, but still only about 30% chance.

Perhaps Option 3, but all will likely not happen.

I would like to say Barbour but given that recent poll that showed him ahead only 41%-38% I have to vote for Beshear.  Jindal seems unstoppable, based on the little we can know.

Hard to tell right now.  I suspect Barbour is the safes to win right now, however.  Tongue

option one on the off-chance Fletcher ducks out somehow.  Barbour and Jindal probably can't lose.

Tough one.  If hard pressed, the most vulnerable to me seems like Jindal, if only because that's a pure open seat.  Barbour is quite popular and Fletcher quite unpopular—overcoming those facts seems like a tall order.

Mississippi will become a Yankee state before Eaves wins.

Jindal losing, but yeah, none of the three are at all likely.

Jindal is leading by 31 points!  Bershear is leading by 23!

There hasn't yet been a real Mississippi poll yet, but Barbour's lead won't be that big...

So? That doesn't mean that Barbour is going to lose, there is almost no way he can lose. While in the other races there are chances that they could lose (though unlikely). And I know you're going to respond that Barbour will lose just like Lott was supposed to lose according to you. Roll Eyes

I've never once stated that Barbour will lose, so please don't put words in my mouth.  I do believe he has a better chance of losing than Jindal or Bershear though.  Those are pretty much locks; Barbour could plausibly lose if Eaves succeeds in getting enough of the Religious Right to come over to him (lately, he's been hitting Barbour on allowing the casinos to move onto land, which Barbour promised he'd never do).

This is totally off-topic, but why do so many people misspell "Beshear?"

Option one, as I still see people making some big change in opinon on Fletcher, but maybe thats just me. None will happen, as has been said before.

Barbour, but only if he gets caught in some huge scandal. Since that makes it possible for him to lose, while the other two aren't really possible at all, Jindal doesn't have any credible opponent, and for Beshear all that matters is that people are pissed at Fletcher.
