Horrible vote splitting between Earl and Sensei on the left (and in the centre) ensures Naso can win safely with the votes of the solid right carrying him home.

Low voter turnout in the West and South, where the race is mostly Jas/Sensei.  In liberal areas, however, turnout is quite intense; the northeast and west are both mostly Jas/Earl races, and the midatlantic is a slugfest.  Jas does pretty well in the Midwest (cuz he's a Midwesterner at heart Grin), and gets second place in just about every state he doesn't win.  In the House, I'm too lazy to say what would happen.
