So I am bored and want to see what everyone thinks about this matchup.

The Presidency is up for grabs with no clear favorite. I brought together Republicans from all kinds of backgrounds both politically and ideologically.

Who wins this showdown for the nomination?

It would probably come down to (R-NY) Sen. Burger and (R-PA) Gov. Innamorato.

Naso would win though.

I'd vote for Andrew and then he can pick Phil as his VP to bring in the conservative vote.

This is who would win, not who would you vote for. Of course I'd vote for Andrew in a heartbeat, but he wouldn't stand a chance.

Phil probably wins.

It would probably be a fight, I might actually be king maker...do I take some local pride, or do I side with ideology...and I can't ever be a VP on Phil's ticket.

Unfortunately Berger would get nowhere considering he is both very socially liberal and anti-war.

Too bad the real GOP isn't more like the atlas GOP.

Go local pride!  Smiley

Yeah, you couldn't be my VP either but not just because we live in the same state.  Tongue  I didn't even think about the same state thing when I made the poll. I'd take all of our base in the primary, too.  Wink

Well, you'd probably take pretty much everything outside Philadelphia, Bucks, Mont, Delaware, maybe Chester and (Centre county too, PSU's there right?)

I'd probably give you a decent run in the Lehigh Valley, if only because I'm fairly familar with it.

But I'd have to silence Berger in SE PA to have a shot here.

Remember that I, too, would have a serious campaign in my home region of SE PA. There are plenty of Republicans like myself in this area (Bucks and NE Philly especially) that come out in these primaries.

Oh, I know but I'd still get somewhat of a good showing. You wouldn't steal NE Philly from me!  Smiley

Note to all voters - This is a poll based on who would win. I see a lot of comments about personal votes.

Who would win a real life primary with these candidates...

I think, for better or worse, GOP primary voters nation wide would probably choose the conservative texan footballer over the more intellectual yankee roman catholic italian.

No offense to ole king norris of course...just comparing images.

Oh, that's fine. I wasn't making this poll just so I could see me win.  Tongue

Thanks for the "intellectual" compliment though I don't know how true that is.  Wink
