They both made news today. Assange got a plea deal and Jones lost his company apparently?
Who do you like more/dislike less?

Both are awful people. Jones I suppose, since he didn't leak any national security secrets.

He just ran a platform that allowed whistleblowers and more to bring transparency.

The diplomatic "cables" were leaked... and they weren't that bad? It just showed what casual chat was like about other countries, which was a little embarrassing, but some even came out and said they do/say likewise and it's not that big a deal.



Jones... gives power to conspiracy theories... and has grown more unhinged. When I was a teenager, I'd occassionally just see what they're talking about on infowars, just out of curiosity, and also when I was exploring what else there was beyond mainstream news. But him, like many others, went off the deep end when Obama was elected. And then all this stuff attacking the surviving students (and their families) who went through school shootings and related gun violence... no sympathy there.

Assange is a rapist who outed informants to the Taliban. Jones harassed the families of children who were murdered in a mass shooting.

Both are irredeemably evil men, and the world will be better off when they are gone.
