Apparently their Dark Brandon merch has accounted for most of their merch sales so this isn’t a bad idea. The Dark Brandon yardsign is outselling their normal yardsign for instance.

Not a bad idea in theory given that memetics are an integral part of the modern media landscape, but Stephen Colbert made a great point on this- "meme magic" can't be bought and sold like a marketing campaign. People are crazy good at sniffing out astroturfing.
