It's wild how he tries to act as if he's the law and order candidate or the "imprison drug dealers!!!" candidate when he has murder suspects on stage with him or is freeing a major drug figure.

He lies every day. He contradicts himself every day, and yet his supporters unshockingly won't care, but you'd thik the press would start caring and calling him out for it... just a tiny bit

Any other candidate would have been brought down by comments like this but not him.

What is really scary is that this guy allegedly contracted murders. The government couldn't make the charges stick but it's likely that it was true. You let this guy out and he'll start trafficking drugs again and much worse.

You ever think maybe he wants the guy out so he can contract murders for him?

Not allegedly, he was caught dead to rights trying to hire a mercenary and sending instructions to kill multiple people. Only reason the charges didn’t stick was because the dumbass had hired a con-man who was bullsh**tting about everything, so nobody had actually died.

Anybody interested in learning about Ross Ulbricht should listen to the Silk Road series by the Casefile podcast.

If he was separately charged he likely would’ve been convicted of murder-for-hire. Federal prosecutors just used it to support the life imprisonment charge. Now Ulbricht thinks he was over sentenced based on just the official charges, but the contracted murder evidence was an important factor in the severity of the sentence.

I don’t really see a persuasive case for commuting his sentence. It kind of seems like Libertarians want him released just because he was a nerdy White guy who flouted laws, ignoring that he was an evil scumbag too.
