RIP massive HPs, but cooking to death inside the helicopter would have been a horrible way to go had it lasted for very long, so I hope they at least died quickly.

This. I'm pretty scared for what comes next though.

You'd get scared if Kim Jong Un blew his nose in public though.

No the pilot was probably military and maybe even IRGC. Maybe his family can understand the pain for hundreds of families across Iran that had their relatives executed with the help of the IRGC

With how scared you get whenever anything bad happens to a dictator(ship); I don’t want to know what you would’ve been saying in the 1940s.

We’re in antebellum right now. It’s gonna be us or it’s gonna be them. Party it up when one of these clowns punch their ticket to Hell

To be fair, just because Putin dies doesn't mean the Ukraine war ends. Isn't the general consensus that whoever replaces Putin would be worse?

Yeah this is Eamon de Valera after Hitler's death levels of patheticness.

Of course Atlas jumped on me for attacking de Valera for that, lol.

Not sure who will actually replace Putin. It seemed to be Patrushev before but he seems to have been sidelined.

FWIW devil's advocate a large portion of the 1988 executions would have happened in any country with the death penalty. They were literally working with Iraq during the Iran-Iraq war.  I guess there might have been slight foreign influence during the more recent protests but it does seem largely domestic and Raisi is evil for that.

Dakhlallah is just a press secretary, not the friggin head of the institution. Stoltenberg himself kept quite apparently and delegated the task to a subordinate. Unlike Charles Michel.

I'm sure there will be (or are already) several conspiracies this accident was perpetrated by the US government, the Israeli government or even Saudi Arabia.

And the MG34 and MG42 machine guns from 1934 and 1942 are still considereal two of the the top machine guns in the World today.

The 1954 Stratocaster and 1959 Les Paul are two of the best made electric guitars.

Chances are, your modern car is made of plastic and you can't service or repair it.

Modern is not always better.

sure, but:
1.we still have access to it's supply chains
2.we've upgraded it
3.we maintain them to an insane level
and most importantly
4.we don't use them as VIP transport

LOL

Better than the Charles Michel tweet, I guess. It's done by the spokesperson of the State Department, not Biden himself. "Official condolescences" sounds like the necessary bare minimum. And the status of human rights in Iran are alluded to.
